“The Bottom Line” podcast airs on March 10 and March 24

Airing live at 10:00 a.m. on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month, The Bottom Line podcast features a wide variety of guests and presents interviews relevant to public policy priorities both in state and nationally, to economic recovery efforts of the pandemic, and to other significant issues of interest to Maine’s business community.

• On Thursday, March 10 at 10:00 a.m., co-hosts Dana Connors of the Maine State Chamber of Commerce and John Williams of Williams Broadcasting will be joined by Terry Shehata, Ph.D., director of the NASA Maine Space Grant Consortium and director of the Maine NASA EPSCoR Program, and Emily Dwinnells, director of the Maine Spaceport Initiative, to discuss the spaceport legislation and its role in the STEM workforce.
  
• On Thursday, March 24 at 10:00 a.m., co-hosts Dana Connors of the Maine State Chamber of Commerce and John Williams of Williams Broadcasting will be joined by Dr. Joan Ferrini-Mundy, president of the University of Maine and vice chancellor for research and innovation for the University of Maine System, to discuss the University’s recent R1 designation and what it means for Maine.
