With the goal of strengthening The Voice of Maine Business, the Maine State Chamber’s effort to recruit new members is unending. These new members collectively represent four Maine counties and more than 400 employees.
In late July, the Maine State Chamber welcomed Kattie Peaslee to the team. She will assist Simon West in the execution of finance and human resources duties. In 2009, Kattie received her Associate’s degree in business administration and marketing from Kennebec Valley Community College.

New program administered by the Finance Authority of Maine will provide $58 million in forgivable loans to Maine small businesses On July 22, Governor Janet Mills announced that she is dedicating $58 million through her Maine Jobs & Recovery Plan to provide forgivable loans to small businesses in Maine to support their continued economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
