The Maine State Chamber of Commerce has recently made an exciting announcement regarding its board leadership. LuAnn Ballesteros, who currently holds the position of vice president of External and Government Affairs at The Jackson Laboratory, has been elected as the incoming chair of the board of directors. Ballesteros will officially assume her role on January 1, 2023, embarking on a two-year term at the helm of the Chamber. This transition follows the conclusion of the two-year term served by the outgoing chair, Clif Greim of Frosty Hill Consulting, who will continue to contribute as the past board chair starting from January 1, 2023. Additionally, Bob Montgomery-Rice, president and CEO of Bangor Savings Bank, will take on the crucial role of first vice chair, and Ann Robinson, partner and chair of Pierce Atwood's Government Relations & Lobbying Practice Group, will serve as the second vice chair. This leadership reshuffle marks an important development for the Chamber, with new voices and perspectives coming into play in the year ahead.
