![]() With the Second Session of the 130th Maine Legislature in full swing and many important energy and environmental issues ahead, Environmental & Energy Technology Council of Maine (E2Tech) is pleased to present two Legislative Preview forums in January. These forums are a chance for legislators, together with department heads and commissioners, to present their goals for the session and to engage with our members and hear their questions in a moderated discussion. On Tuesday, January 25, E2Tech will ask members of the legislature’s Environment and Natural Resource committee to give their perspective, including opening remarks by DEP’s Commissioner Melanie Loyzim. On January 31, members of the legislature’s Energy, Utilities and Technology committee will be joined by Phil Bartlett, Maine PUC chair, and Bill Harwood, Maine’s Public Advocate nominee.
As always, E2Tech forums are free for students, elected officials, and our sustaining partners. Visit e2tech.org for more details and to register. Additional speakers may be added, so please check the website. We look forward to seeing you online for what we anticipate will be two lively and engaging sessions! For more information, please contact Martin Grohman, executive director of the Environmental & Energy Technology Council of Maine (E2Tech), by calling (207) 423-8260 or by emailing [email protected].
