Bring ME up to Speed - Broadband Webinar 3: A New England Perspective

Wednesday, November 10, 2021, 10:00 AM

An Update from a Maine Perspective

Broadband investment in Maine has changed significantly in just the last 6 months – going from the passage of a $15 million dollar bond to the federal government approving more than $200 million to be invested in Maine broadband.  In response to the influx of money into Maine, Governor Mills established the Maine Connectivity Authority which will have oversight of these investments. The Maine State Chamber of Commerce is looking forward to hosting members of the newly established broadband authority to explore what this investment will look like.  You won’t want to miss this informative meeting!

Moderator: Mike Reed – Mission Broadband

Panelist:
  • Heather Johnson, Commissioner of Maine DECD
  • Tim Schneider, General Counsel for Tilson Technology Management, Board Chair of the Maine Connectivity Authority
  • Danielle Louder, Co-Director of Medical Care Development, Inc.’s Domestic Public Health Division and Director of the Northeast Telehealth Resource Center, Board Member of the Maine Connectivity Authority
