This is a recording of the Maine State Chamber’s 2023 Health Care Forum. This year, we were excited to feature the Maine Cancer Foundation (MCF). MCF is dedicated to reducing cancer incidence and mortality rates in Maine and leads a statewide endeavor to foster and grow the most promising and effective cancer-fighting efforts available through a combination of grant-based financial support and coalition building. On June 1st, we heard about MCF’s work including their new initiative, Maine’s Cancer Blueprint. Those who attended the event heard from Ray Ruby, MCF’s Executive Director, and other panelists on the many ways that Maine and MCF are leading the way in fighting cancer in Maine.
