OneVoice Maine Magazine Archive
In October 2020, the Maine State Chamber launched OneVoice Maine magazine.
Through OneVoice Maine, we seek to recognize and honor the contributions Maine businesses and Maine business leaders make to Maine’s economy and workforce; to their communities, people, families and youth; and, to preserving Maine’s natural beauty, abundant resources, and more. Those contributions, as well as the businesses and leaders behind them, add to the quality of life and quality of place that help make Maine a unique and vibrant place to live and work.
We are honored to tell those stories in OneVoice Maine.
In our second edition, released in May 2021, we examine Maine’s fishing, farming and forestry industries and their impact on our state’s economy, both past and present. With more than two centuries of rich history, these sectors continue to innovate and remain cornerstones of Maine’s economy and heritage. In addition, readers will enjoy stories highlighting the critical and ongoing role that innovation has played in Maine businesses in operation for more than 100 years.
The inaugural October 2020 edition recognizes the extraordinary efforts and contributions of Maine’s business community - our Community Champions - in response to the COVID-19 pandemic; pays tribute to the life and legacy of the late Woodrow Cross, founder of Cross Insurance; shares inside perspectives on the COVID-19 pandemic from contributors including Northern Light Health, Good Shepherd Food Bank, the University of Maine - and more.
