Speakers:

• Alex Ingraham, Pingree Associates: Alex is President of Pingree Associates, which along with Seven Islands Land Company oversees 820,000 acres of Pingree forestland in Maine. Ingraham is one of the sixth-generation family members of the eight-generation family descended from David Pingree. Ingraham spent summers in high school and college interning and working at Seven Islands, learning all aspects of the business. He holds a B.S. in Forestry from the University of Maine, an MBA from the College of Charleston in South Carolina, and spent two years as a forestry consultant in Oregon before returning to Maine. He sits on the boards of a number of non-profit and landowner organizations throughout the country.
  
  
• Patty Cormier, Maine Forest Service: Patty was appointed to the Bureau Director and Maine State Forester role in 2019. Before this, she was a District Forester for the Maine Forest Service for 20 years. Prior to that, she was a Landowner Assistance Forester for Georgia Pacific Corporation. Patty serves on the National Fire Committee, is a State Forester Liaison for the Northeast-Midwest State Foresters Association Fire Committee and serves as Chair of the three-person Baxter State Park Authority. She was also recently elected as the President of the National Association of State Foresters. Patty holds a B.S. in Forest Management for the University of Maine at Orono.
   
• Pat Strauch, Maine Forest Products Council: Patrick leads MFPC’s staff and works closely with the Council’s Executive Committee, Board of Directors and members. In 2014, he received the W.D. Hagenstein Communicators Award from the Society of American Foresters, which recognizes a member “who displays the ability, talent, and skill to lead innovative and exemplary communications initiatives and programs that increase the general public’s understanding of forestry and natural resources at the local, regional, or national level.” Farm Credit of Maine gave him its “Distinguished Service Award” in 2012.
