The Maine State Chamber’s signature events are where connections are made, ideas are exchanged, and leadership takes shape. From statewide gatherings like our Annual Meeting and Dinner and Business Day at the State House, to high-impact experiences like the Leadership Summit and D.C. Fly-in, our events bring members face-to-face with decision-makers, thought leaders, and fellow business professionals.

Whether you're networking over breakfast in your region, teeing off at our annual golf tournament, or contributing to statewide policy conversations, membership gives you a front-row seat to the events that help shape Maine’s economy—and your role in it.

Annual Meeting and Dinner

The Maine State Chamber’s Annual Meeting and Dinner is our premier fall event—an evening designed to bring our members together in celebration, connection, and shared purpose. Held each year in rotating locations across the state, this signature gathering features a dinner, distinguished awards, and timely programming that highlights the people, policies, and priorities shaping Maine’s economy.

In election years, the event may also include candidate debates presented in partnership with WCSH 6/News Center Maine, adding a powerful civic dimension to the evening. From honoring visionary leaders to engaging on critical issues, the Annual Meeting and Dinner is a hallmark moment for Maine’s business community.

Business Day at the State House

The Maine State Chamber’s annual Business Day at the State House offers members a unique opportunity to showcase their businesses at the State House in Augusta. This event brings Maine employers face-to-face with legislators and state officials to showcase their company, share priorities, voice concerns, and build valuable relationships that support a stronger, more competitive economy.

By fostering direct dialogue between the business community and policymakers, Business Day at State House plays a vital role in shaping Maine’s future. We invite all members to participate and help make Maine an even better place to live, work, and do business.

D.C. Fly-In

Once a year, the Maine State Chamber hosts its D.C. Fly-in, bringing members to the nation’s capital for direct engagement with Maine’s congressional delegation. With so many critical decisions affecting Maine’s economy and employers being made in Washington, this annual trip offers business leaders a valuable opportunity to hear from our elected representatives—and to share their own priorities and perspectives.

Attendees also participate in additional high-level briefings and events, including sessions with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Manufacturers, for in-depth insights on the federal policies shaping Maine’s business landscape.

Leadership Summit

Our annual Leadership Summit is a uniquely focused gathering of Maine’s top business and government leaders. Designed for board members and invited guests, this invitation-only event fosters candid, solutions-driven dialogue with commissioners, legislative leadership, and key committee chairs and members.

It’s a rare opportunity to exchange ideas, build relationships, and shape the future of Maine policy—together.

Regional Breakfasts

The Maine State Chamber brings the Chamber to you through our Regional Business Breakfasts, held in partnership with local and regional chambers across the state. These events offer a valuable opportunity to connect with Chamber leadership, share what’s impacting your business, and hear timely updates on the public policy issues shaping Maine’s economy.

It’s community insight and statewide perspective—served over coffee.

Scramble for Scholars Golf Tournament

Tee off for a cause with Maine’s business leaders! Each summer, Chamber members from across the state come together for a day of great golf, spirited networking, and generous giving. Proceeds from our annual tournament support scholarships for Maine students—and since 1995, we've awarded $175,500 in tuition assistance to 118 students through the generosity of our sponsors and players.

Whether you're here for the competition, the connections, or the cause, this tournament is a highlight of our event calendar—and we’d love to see you on the green.
