In anticipation of the 2022 gubernatorial election, the Maine State Chamber of Commerce is updating its flagship economic report, Making Maine Work: Critical Investments for the Maine Economy, in collaboration with our past partners – the Maine Development Foundation, Educate Maine, and consultant Ed Cervone – as well as key stakeholders and like-minded organizations.

The Maine State Chamber would like to include YOUR input in the survey portion of this project. This brief survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete, and will close on Friday, April 1, 2022. These Making Maine Work reports historically include actionable recommendations for improvement in each of the economic areas revealed through a broad survey initiative. The project will inform candidates and voters using a data-driven, non-partisan approach, in hopes of garnering employer-friendly outcomes. With an anticipated release in July 2022, this edition of Making Maine Work will highlight the progress, challenges, and opportunities facing Maine’s economy as we work our way through the pandemic.
