Maine State Chamber partners with CISA to provide Maine businesses with cybersecurity information

Every day, businesses across the country experience cybersecurity attacks, costing billions of dollars in lost data and personal information. The need to protect your business and personal data by taking pre-emptive action is absolutely critical.

Cyber-attacks are becoming more and more sophisticated and have increased dramatically over the years. The issue is not if you will be the victim of a cyber-attack, but when. Having knowledge and the proper tools in hand for you and your employees can greatly lessen that probability or even potentially eliminate it. 

Following our recent Cybersecurity webinar series (recordings available on our website) with U.S. Senator Angus King, the Cybersecurity Infrastructure and Security Agency (CISA), and other top cybersecurity professionals, the Maine State Chamber of Commerce has partnered with CISA and posted cybersecurity resources on its website, as well as several links to resources on CISA’s website that will help members report ransomware attacks, access toolkits for small businesses, and visit stopransomware.gov, a one-stop shop for learning about cybersecurity.
