On July 22, Governor Janet Mills announced that she is dedicating $58 million through her Maine Jobs & Recovery Plan to provide forgivable loans to small businesses in Maine to support their continued economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Education Leaders Experience (ELE) is a yearlong, unique professional development program for education leaders in Maine. ELE, developed and funded by Unum, is designed to connect Maine’s education leaders with business and policy leaders and employers around the state. Educate Maine administers the program for Unum in partnership with Maine Principals’ Association, and University of New England online.
