A message from our Board Chair, Clif Greim

During the Maine State Chamber’s annual Board Orientation and Appreciation Dinner on Monday, November 22, board chair Clif Greim of Frosty Hill Consulting expressed his thanks to the Maine State Chamber’s members and valued partners for a value-filled year.

From the chamber’s new members, he requested: “I ask that you offer your voice and perspective on any issue that we discuss, debate, or consider positioning on. The Chamber is statewide, diverse, inclusive, and is tuned in to the voices working to move the state, its workforce, its infrastructure, and its innovative spirit forward.”

Greim went on to comment about the Chamber’s role in the 2022 legislative session. “Many tough issues face us this session, and the continuation of efforts to move our State’s strategic plan forward is critical. We acknowledge that there is shared reliance of both employer and employee on each other for both personal, organizational, and State economic success. Legislating collaboratively to support these relationships, rather than disrupting them, is critical. The voice of the Maine State Chamber represents the broad, balanced realities of our working environments critical to any legislative considerations.”

In closing, he graciously thanked chamber leadership and staff for navigating the pandemic’s impacts in 2021, looking with hope to 2022. “I would like to recognize Dana and the Advocacy staff for their outstanding efforts last session. I would also like to acknowledge the full staff of the Chamber that coordinate events and programs, both virtual and in person, for their exceptional efforts. I look forward to working with all our Chamber members and partners this next year. I wish you all a wonderful holiday season.”
