LEGISLATIVE SESSION RESUMES
The Second Regular Session of the 124th Maine Legislature began on Wed., January 6, 2010. Although statutory adjournment is schedule for April 21, legislative leadership
in both the House and Senate are anticipating that they may adjourn as early as April 1.

The 124th Legislature is nearing the end of its Public Hearing and Work Session phase. Committees were given a deadline of March 11 for reporting bills out of committee. Floor debates will continue as the Legislature works toward is April adjournment.
